July 27-31 Forest Friends (Foxes: 4-10 years)

The Forest Friends program offers lively, imaginative outdoor play with strong emphasis on the arts! Each week, we day includes imaginative play, mud kitchens, circle time, a daily hike to a shady forested play space, storytelling, art and wilderness skills.

At Out to Play, we follow the Forest and Nature School approach; every day is about curiosity, exploration, and learning through play! Children’s interests lead our adventures. Our kind and patient educators are there to play alongside the children, guiding them, supporting their learning, and helping them build friendships while staying safe together.

The Forest Friends program includes a Fox group (4-10 years) and a Chickadee group (4-6 years), to offer a wider or narrower age range. Mixed-age groupings offer children scaffolded learning in empathy and social skills. 

The program runs from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Out to Play Centre, located at 230 Davidson’s Side Road. Once you register, you'll receive a warm Welcome Letter with all the details you need, including parking instructions, packing tips, and a chance to meet the Out to Play team. We can’t wait to have your child join us for a summer full of exploration, fun, and learning in nature!
